Customer Service/Cashier
Job Description
United Staffing Solutions, a leader in staffing, is representing a very successful electronics retail store located in Midtown West is seeking Customer Service Reps to join their team. This is a temporary assignment with the possibility of becoming permanent with good attendance and performance.
This position includes the possibility or promotion/transfer to other departments such as Customer Service/Assistance, Returns department, and other areas within the store.
The schedule is 5 days a week between Sunday-Friday. No Saturdays. Hours are typically 10 am-7 pm. Fridays 9 am-2 pm and Sundays 10 am-5 pm are required.
Pay: $16-17/hr DOE
Responsibilities for the Customer Service Rep:
- Assisting customers in a retail setting
- Assist customers in person and over the phone by answering questions regarding store products and services
- Using a POS system
- Cash and card handling
- Data entry
Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience working in a retail environment
- Experience with POS is a plus, not a must
- Excellent customer interaction skills. Must be kind, courteous, and energetic.
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high-volume, fast-paced environment
